Guiding Light

Once i was lost,
was afraid and blind,
i stumbled through darkness,
but a hope, a joy, i did find.
because in that darkness,
there can be a light,
and you don't have to stumble,
or be afraid of some blight.
if you just call on the name,
of Jesus Christ the Lord,
then you will be saved,
and not have to worry about any sword.
He will lead you through the darkness,
with His guiding light,
to His kingdom in heaven,
where all things are right.
and i thank You my Lord,
for the mercy You showed me,
because no matter how sinful someone is,
You will set them free.
and if you don't know the Lord,
find Him somewhere,
go to a pastor, friend, even a stranger,
don't pass up a love so rare.
because only He died for you,
to pay for your sins,
call on the Lord's name,
and enjoy all of Life's outs and ins.
