David the Phoney Hero

by Atahan Tolunay   Nov 1, 2004

This is the story of David
An ordinary soldier that found his role
A bad day it was for David
He was trapped in a stupid hole

Bullets were whizzing by
As he was sitting there in fear
He really didn’t want to die
He wanted to live another year

Even though this was war
His greatest fear, a little snake
Fear struck him into the core
Just my luck, for f's sake

The snake came closer and closer
And David was thinking faster and faster
What to do? Its getting closer
Somehow this situation I need to master

And then from nowhere a bullet kills
This, in David’s eyes, vicious snake
Now that’s some shooting skills
But realizes his life is at stake

If this bullet can hit this little beast
It must mean I’m pushing my luck
I must shoot some foes at least
No safe to sit here and just duck

So he grabs his rifle and rushes out
With great courage he attacks his enemies
All his troops start to rush and shout
And the enemies run away like ladies
