There's so many things I love about you,
but just as many that I hate too.

I love the way you smile at me,
but I hate when you say we could never be.

I love the little ways that you flirt,
but I hate the way my heart you hurt.

I love the way you look when you sleep,
but I hate the way my heart you won't keep.

I love the way you say my name,
but I hate that you treated it all like a game.

I love the way you still protect me,
but I hate that you won't admit your jealousy.

I love the way you can still make me smile,
but I hate the fact you're in denial.
