Everything i once knew
was abruptly taken away
starved for some reason
yet I'd nothing to say
life is what you make of it
i learned that on my own
steadily stepping slowly
into a world unknown
find what you need
when self-esteem is planted
look on the better side of life
take all of the good for granted
never change
be the person you are
look deep within
finding yourself is hard
don't give up easily
there's always a will
besides fate will come sooner
but only for those who stand still
time will erupt
then you'll find out
you're more than you lost
even after your doubts
never once closer
to the image laid in your mind before
you're almost the person
in which you had in store
now it's over
time is on your side
with many secrets untold
