I once knew a place
where i lived so wonderfully
in a time life moved with perfect grace
when i was never looked at as an understudy
what happened to my home
the one that was too good to be true
in which i never felt alone
the place where happiness is all i knew
what happened to the family
who for me had unconditional love
the people who'd never give me up easily
the ones i could never get enough of
what happened to that guy
that always passed me a glance
when I'd pass him by
with him I'd no chance
what happened to my love
with a guy who was so right
the one who was sent to me from up above
the guy i held onto with all of my might
what happened to my fantasy world
the one i was in perfect bliss
reality seems to have unfurled
my utopia i shall always miss
now that is gone
cast out of my mind
am impossible world is what I'd drawn
