Watching from within...

Here with no light,
looking through occluded windows of my soul
Only my reflection from within.

Different shades of cold tormenting me,
clawing at my very being.
Forever I will be not released.

Demented shadows all around,
Not knowing friend or foe
And ever more will I be lost.

Searching within myself
Finding canyons I don't know myself
Till the dying rays blankets me.

And still I go on,
Driven by a force unknown to me.
ever searching for my destination.

Missing what's around me.
Blinded by cause and effect.
Not seeing it all.
