Iam That Darkness

by Jennifer   Nov 2, 2004

I am that darkness that eats at your soul
that makes you grow cold
that makes you grow old so fast
I am that darkness that last in your nightmares
that put you six feet underground
that surrounds your mind everyday
I am that darkness that makes you tremble at the site of me
that makes you scream so loud
that allows every evil done to you
you are losing your mind
time for me to give you an idea
mail your last letter to you parents
this ain't going to be no present
you just lost your precious life
Iam that darkness that is no lie...

This is good. I like poems about depression, death, darkness, suicide, cutting, etc. because writing about it is one of the only things that keeps people from actually DOING the destructive things that they talk about. You have a good perspective here and I like how you approached the topic. Good work.
