My Aesthetic Angel

by Daniel Solomon   Nov 3, 2004

Her beauty is so amazing.
When she’s gone I feel myself fading.
In her presence I feel joy.
She’s the only thing that can fill my dark, empty void.
During our time together, I grew fond of her.
Inside me, not a demon had stirred.
Even my hate could no longer rise.
The burning image of fire has left my eyes.
The aesthetic angel I hold in my arms is so immense.
My love for her is so intense.
When she’s with me, my soul gets cleansed.
The darkness has been washed away.
Away from my black heart, it continues to fade.
I see the light glisten in her eyes.
I hold her hand and she holds mine.
I watch her body move gracefully.
Knowing this angel was made flawlessly.
Sometimes, I wonder if I deserve this. Do I deserve her?
If she died….I would surely die with her.
I watch her as she spreads her wings.
Her wings reflect the light, they even gleam.
My angel is so loving and caring.
Her body glows beneath her halo emanating.
She hugs me tightly and we make the ascension.
My lips caress hers as we fly towards the heavens.
She is pure and ethereal. Without fright, I spread my wings.
I hold her close, nothing can harm her. Not even my demon dreams.
I love her so much, nothing can tear us apart….not even the dark alloy set upon my wings.

Nice one dude. Thought I'd drop by and give you a comment being as though I haven't read this one yet. You should really put some more of your poems on here. There are of few of yours that I think were wicked that you should stick on here.
