Just a handful of pills make my troubles go away

by jenni   Nov 3, 2004

Grasping the handful of concluding pills,
Edging towards the sink,
As my vision begins to blur,
My mind begins to think.

Back into the days when everything was fine,
The days that have long gone,
Remembering the way it all was right,
Now i'm swallowing pills one by one.

Realising this could all end,
It may not last another day,
Collapsing down onto the floor,
Watching my troubles slip away.
