My Dreams ©

My dreams at night,
Are wild and free,
Though filled with regret,
Pain, shame and love,
Love for two special guys,
Deep down in my heart,
They fight a wild battle,
In the walls of my mind,
But who is to win,
My mind won’t decide,
Cos my love is so strong for both them guys,
One from the past,
One from the present,
So much in common between them two,
It’s funny really in how I choose,
There both so funny,
There both so sweet,
They both can care,
They both can show love,
So with all this in mind,
The fight will con-vein,
Until the day,
That one has to leave,
So with my mind so clouded,
How can it be,
That it keeps getting harder,
For me to sleep.
