Yet She Lives On

by Cantchangeme   Nov 3, 2004

Blue stricken eyes
Bleeding from terror
She can't get out
Begging for cover

Her dripping hair
Red with her blood
she can't get out
She begs she could

She can never scream
Her mouth is too dry
No water for 3 days
No water left to cry

They open up the hatch
They pass her, her food
A gun to her aching head
They know she can't move

So red and bloodshot
Her eyes they bleed
She can't get out
kill me she'll plead

Plunged back into dark
The hatch is slammed shut
They won't let her die
She wishes they would

An eternity of darkness
Nothing to commit suicide
She cant remember sunlight
she begs please let me die

She can't get out
She can't get out
She can't get out
Yet she lives on
She can't get out
She can't get out
She can't get out
Yet she lives on
