Since When Did Fairy Tales Come True

by Ian Robert   Nov 3, 2004

Vague memory's of perfection,
She reminds me that life is still worth living,
Because some were within me,
Theres a piece thats not the enemy.

Her gaze seems to capture me,
Like the wind,
That blows as she walks,
And the sound of her voice as she talks.

When she leaves me for a moment,
Her sent lingers in the air,
So she never seems far away at all,
Feelings like this are to good to be true.

Yet they are here to stay,
If I could reach them,
I would give you all the stars in the sky,
I'd put them in a jar on your bedside table.

So you'd never have to be afraid of what's lurking in the shadows,
And when I'm not around,
You would always find your way,
Through the darkest of moments.

Just know that my loves always here,
My arms will always be waiting,
To hold you once more,
I will always be waiting...
