Deeper

by Chelsey   Nov 4, 2004

Have you ever seen blood in the moonlight? It looks quite black
Thats the first sign there is no turning back
Once it starts to drip, it gains a steady flow
You begin to feel weak.but at least you're letting go

You remember the times you laughed, and the times you cried
You think of all the times you were scared and the times you lied
All the things you did that you thought you couldn't do..
I must admit I was able to do it, because of you.

So as I cut even deeper..and my memories run dry
I can feel the tears, but I never start to cry
My heart is stopping and I want you here
To numb away my fear..

You remember the times you laughed, and the times you cried
You think of all the times you were scared and the times you lied
All the things you did that you thought you couldn't do..
I must admit I was able to do it, because of you.
