Raining...

by SplitSided   Nov 5, 2004

The clouds roll in.
And the air grows thin.
The first drop falls.
Time stalls.
Then it starts to rain.
The groud starts to stain.
With water falling from the sky.
It's like the clouds begin to cry.
Tears the cover everything.
And the wind begins to sing.
The thunder roars.
And the rain it doesn't fall it pours.
Lightning strikes from a distance.
The sky is lit up for an instant.
Back to black it goes.
As the puddle grows.
The rain falls in my hand.
And alone i stand.
Getting showered on.
The sun is long gone.
The rain makes my neck stiffen.
And makes my legs quiver.
The rain reminds me of me.
Something far away is hard to see.
But the path is in front of me.
Not wanting to do anything else.
The rain describes how i felt.
Unlike the sun it brings sorrow.
No hope for tomorrow.
It stops and the groud is not staining.
In my heart it still raining...
