The path is narrower before me, and the colors of the season paint a picture of the moment. Here, right here, in the solemn presence of God, I find myself compelled to yell out my convictions; to request the ever popular forgiveness of sins. Once again I had lost my way. At the end of this bridge are two paths. One circles around, retracing the steps I've once taken, with all the mistakes in life I've made. The other, straight and narrow. My decision is this. I choose to take the one that leads straight and narrow, toward He for whom I live. My feet have carried me thus far, but from here I shall move by faith, like wings of an angel. And nothing will stand in my way, for the Lord is my guide. |
