If tomorrow starts without me,
Would you even shed a tear?
Is the thought of me leaving,
at least one of your fears?

You say yes to these questions,
though sometimes it seems a no.
What did I do so wrong,
That made me your foe?

Did I not give you a shoulder,
to cry on when your sad?
Did I not make you laugh,
when you where mad?

I'm always there to catch you,
right before you hit the ground.
And when you take stuff out on me,
I never make a sound.

I put my life one pause,
to help yours play.
I've been there for you,
every single day.

Even if we were fighting,
I'd put that on hold,
To help you if,
your world turned cold.

If tomorrow starts without me,
would you regret not treating me,
like the friend you say I am,
The friend who helped you see?

Would your world go dark,
Would I even cross your mind
Or would you just forget me
and say that every thing is fine?

Yes I admit it,
you are a great friend,
You have been there for me
to help my life mend.

But that is only if,
its just you and me.
When your with them,
you don’t even see.

You don’t see that I’m hurt
You don’t even look my way
I am invisible to you
I don’t even get a “hey”

I want to be noticed,
loved and cared for.
But sometimes you just,
shut all of the doors.

I need you right now,
to show me the way.
I want you by my side
Each and every day.

If tomorrow starts without me
I will still help you see
I will still be by your side.
Even if you don’t miss me.
