Why not when you're sober?

by !*!Zoe!*!   Nov 7, 2004

I feel your hot breath on the nape of my neck,
I feel your fingers brushing my spine,
I feel your arms encircling my waist,
You’re acting like this because of the wine.

You caress my hair,
You whisper in my ear,
You start to kiss me,
And I start to tear.

I wish the was the way you really acted,
It’s just a front you put on when you are drunk,
It hurts so much to know that it’s a mask,
And that when you’re sober it’ll go back in the trunk.

You murmur that you love me,
Just like all through my youth,
Well, now I’m sick of this,
I now want the truth.

Do I actually mean anything to you?
Because I love you with all my heart,
I will always be there for you,
Even though you’ve shot me with darts.
