I was a girl
He was a boy
I gave him a cookie
He bought me a toy
I made him laugh
He brought me joy

I was a lady
He was a guy
I helped him with chicks
Taught him how to approach them and say hi
He helped me with lads
When they ended everything with a goodbye

I told him he was special
He told me I was very sweet
I told him that I care about him
He told me that I make his heart beat

I was his bride
He was my groom
He was my brightening sun
I was his sweet, beautiful moon

He was the first one to say
I love you
I was the one to answer his vows with
Yes , I do
