Change the Clock

I don't know what to say or do,
I cant explain how i feel,
I don't know why we have to be this way.
Why cant we be together?

From that moment you said,
"lets just be friends"
my heart was ripped in half.
Never thought this day would come.

Only been two hours gone,
yet it seems like my world has stopped.
Watching the second finger on the clock.
Slowly making its way around.

I don't understand,
Why just be friends,
its not going to be the same.
My Love is far too much.

Just think about it?
Just a few weeks apart?
Thats all my heart can take.
I don't think I could just be your friend.
