Tears of pain

On my face i have a tear
and it is from my own fear
it just keeps running down my cheek
for I have something yet to seek

you just don't know how i feel,
like banging into heavy steel
if you felt this you would be dead
can't you get it through your head!

we used to really like each other
even more than a pesky brother
what do we have in common now?
nothing at all, can't you see how?

i used to have a big happy heart
now it's suddenly,tearing apart
if you can just eventually see
then maybe it can be you and me
