I Miss You

by Samantha (Sam)   Nov 8, 2004

I sat down & tried to watch TV
But all I could watch was you
I shut my eyes & tried to sleep
But all I could see was you
My music was so loud, you could hear it down the street
But all I could hear was you
I dropped to my knees
& Tried to breathe
& All I could see was you

Something is wrong
Something is not right
It rings in my head
It consumes my sight
Today is my birthday
& Ive never felt so blue
I spent my whole day
Remembering you
Theres nothing in my power
Nothing I can do
Just go on
Always missing you

I hit the bong
& Inhaled you in
I dropped some acid
& You started to blend
I thought this battle
I was gonna win
But then I realized
I missed you again

Something is wrong
Somethings not right
It rings in my head
It consumes my sight
Today is my birthday
& Ive never felt so blue
I spent my whole day
Remembering you
Theres nothing in my power
Nothing I can do
Just go on
Always missing you

You pull me under
You take me over
Its been a long time
& I'm yet to recover
Its like I drank last year
But I'm still hung over
Eventually I’ll learn
How to face my day sober
But always missing you
