They knew

They knew that they can hurt me they knew how to take my soul they knew that they can hurt me
my life was one big hole.

they knew that they could hurt me
they knew how to make my life deprived
they knew that they could hurt me
they knew how to make me cry.

they knew that they could hurt me
they knew what set me off
they knew that they could hurt me
they knew i gave a toss.

they knew that they could hurt me
they knew i wouldn't tell
they knew that they could hurt me
they knew my life was hell.

they knew that they could hurt me
until that final day
they knew that they could hurt me
until i moved away

now that they cant hurt me
i know that i have won
now that they cant hurt me
my life has just begun.
