Innocent Sin

by RaInYDaYze   Nov 8, 2004

The cracked little star
Is bleeding imperfection
And weeping a twisted lullaby
It falls through the atmosphere
Beautifully dying
Leaking blissful innocence
Crying out the painful truth
Bestowing a morbid grace
Upon the paper hearts of broken girls
Screaming denial and faking forgiveness
It cuts her wrists with the razor sharp lies
Radiating a sickening lust
So sweet she can barely breath
Filling her with a crimson dark desire
And an imaginary need for pain
She lays in the dark with eyes wide open
The words choke in her throat
And stick to her tongue
The tears betraying her false pretense
She's suffering a massacre in her mind
Victim of chance, casualty of circumstance
Her eyes bleed the word "tragedy"
Shattered hope lays in fragments at her feet
The fractured star is an unholy sacrifice
A reminder of the weak and the wounded
Decaying memories that chew away on her sanity
The star's gaping wounds pour
Glittering, burning sex and glamor
To melt her ice cold heart
She will teach you the art of seduction
And the art of suicide
She truly wishes all her nightmares will come true
Because nothing is worse than this
The scars are just another example of her sins
The warm liquid metal taste trickling against her tongue
Like poison, eating her away
Bloodbaths to make her eternal
Gashes to keep her alive
The star is lifeless and drained
Numb and empty, sprawled across the darkness
It paints a lonely blood drenched picture in the sky
