The feelings she feels

by Rachel Ellison   Nov 8, 2004

Her tears fall like blood from her wrist
every time the panic hits.
This feeling is a feeling she cant control,
It’s a feeling that devours her heart and soul.
Scared, lonely, hopeless and cold,
are all the feelings that she has to hold.
She hopes and prays for such better days
but them days never seem to come.

No one realizes or even seems to care
they just assume its for attention
but her pain is always there.
she’s been living with depression
and panic attacks ever since first grade,
and nothing or no one could help her
so inside the feeling stayed.

She’s held on for so many years
so much blood has been shed
along with so many tears,
and still she refuses to give up,
everyday she fights to stay alive
while the devil twist and twirls inside.
But sometimes she just cant resist
releasing her pain with a razor to her wrist.

Its so hard to understand,
not many people really know,
the feeling of uncontrollable emotions,
that constantly overflow.
So be careful of what you say and do
put yourself in her place and imagine it was you.
Don’t judge her, help her, and
if you cant help her hold her.
You could be saving a life because you care.
