Deny...

by Molly Elizabeth   Nov 9, 2004

I have this braclet,
around my wrist
and It reminds me
of our first kiss.
Don't ask me how,
I don't know why.
But everything I look at
reminds me
of you and I.

The gifts you gave,
the things you said.
A thousand words,
and conversations
they can't be reread...
I'll keep those thoughts inside my head.

The night sky,
every star.
A fire burning,
like the passion for you
that was burning in my heart.
You left me,
with just a scar.
And yet...
I still think of you.

Out in the dark,
I see your face.
I hear your voice,
in every place.
Yet I'll deny
that I still feel for you.
Because I know,
you'd deny it too.
