To Margaret

by FTS Miles   Nov 9, 2004

[In honor of Margaret Findley]

'She walks in beauty'
perhaps even more
now than ever before,
her aching form,
beleaguered movement,
besieged senses having
succumbed to the
bittersweet rapture
of a long life well lived,
with friends and family,
and the rewards of
loving spoils conquered
from the trickling years
to her final peace,
and the vibrant smile
eloping with her soul
into the Light.
