I'm trying to forget you
sat here in the gloom
I've tried this 1000 times before
hope it will work soon

i know i can't hate you
as I've tried that many times too
when ever I'm close you ruin it
memories come back of you

you don't even talk to me
or take the time to listen
i want to tell you all these things
now part of me is missing

once i did believe

never thought you'd become part of
my lost and tearful past

i know your world around
without me will keep turning
and throughout the pain and regret
all the time I'm learning

learning not to trust
