The Dream

Last night in my dream I had a sudden fright when I saw my destiny come off of his flight.

I started to breath heavy, unsure if I was ready. All those lonely days I have wished, and this is one chance I cannot miss.

All the times we have talked, now here you are taking my hand in yours. My heart stars racing, and I know this time we should not be wasting.

I never knew beyond the screen the love I felt, and for once I knew in my heart this love is for real.

The way you kissed my lips, and placed your hands firmly upon my hips. I knew it was love when I looked into your soul fool eyes.

Please baby you can't go, as my heart aches with sorrow. I knew this was inevitable, as tears fill up my eyes, as I prayed god please don't let him go.

I'll love you as long as I shall live, so here's my heart in your hand, it's your gift I give. I stand at the terminal gate as I wave goodbye.

Now here I sit with you once again on the other side of the screen, my love all of this was only but a dream.
