You hate me.

Today you said you hate me,
I heard it plane and clear.
What use to be my happiness,
is now my biggest fear.

You said it with a steady voice,
no anger or sorrow at all.
You stomped me into the ground,
and you just let me fall.

Now I see it crystal clear,
there is no doubt in my mind.
I never was your one true friend,
now you just left me behind.

You never wanted me as a friend,
Just wanted me when you were sad.
The fact that you used me is not what hurts
Its what you said that makes me mad.

Each time you needed me,
I was there,
To dry your tears,
I really cared.

Now I'm left all alone.
without a friend,
Because of you I gave up
on making this friendship mend.

I'm sorry you have to use me,
It hurts me to know that too.
But it hurts me more to hear you say,
"Nikki, I Hate You."
