Promise

We promised.
To never let this happen again.
What happened to that?
After our last fight,
we both said we never wanted that again.
We started getting so much closer.
We told each other a lot more.
Then something happened,
and we have stopped talking like we did.
We are getting back to the fighting,
the promise we made,
not to fight.
What is happening to us?
You have told me how much I mean to you.
But then nothing else happens.
What am I supposed to believe?
I don't know anymore.
