Late Winter Snows

by Fisherman   Nov 10, 2004

Winter is known for its frigid weather,
When windows cover with frost
And toes and fingers numb in the cold.

Yet late winter holds more promise
As variety returns to the land
And days alternate between sun and cold.

I enjoy more these late winter snows
When winter reminds us she is here
Yet sunny days intersperse
Promising hope for return of Spring.
