Forever and Always

Forever and Always I’ll love you he said
And me I believed in the words that he spoke
But all he really wanted was a quick romance
A kiss and a cuddle then quickly to bed

Forever: it lasted for only an hour
Always: went quicker and soon passed away
Then I was left all alone once more
Cast away and drained of my power
