Happy now

Life is good
but hasn't been great
i got over what i said i would
I'm just a little late

it took me a while
but time heals pain
now watch me smile
when i come your way

I'm happy now
in a much better mood
look at me, wow!
thats my new attitude!

all that pain put me down
but now I'm back up
and all these emotions are about to erupt!

so here i am now
as happy as can be
been hurt before,
but now i can be me!!!
