Thanks For Being There

Nothing i could say to you,
Could show you how i feel.
No matter how sincere and true,
I still can't make words real.
I could write down all the lines I'm feeling,
Directly from my heart.
Bu the gratitude is just too strong,
To even make a start.
I could tell you "Thanks for staying strong-
You've been the greatest friend."
I could promise you the same from me,
That I'll be here till the end.
I could ask you not to ever change,
You're the best the way you are.
Let you know without you,
I could never get this far.
I could tell you all these things and more,
But they never would compare,
With how great a friend you are to me,
Thanks for being there.
