It's hard to fit in
living in a world that you're constantly criticized
everyone is labeled like Campbell's Soup
these are the preps
here are the jocks
the math nerds stand over there
next to those who love punk rock
there are those less fortunate
and those known as "sluts"
the goths dresses like the mid of night
and the people with chunky tummies and big butts
you judge them by what's on the outside
and rumors that you hear
if you hang out with someone outside of your group
your friends finding out is what you fear
ignoring the outcasts
never once looking on the inside
even though nobody knows the real you
everything you want to hide
too afraid to show it all
afraid of what people will say
no one wants to be hates
they want to be liked in every way
what's with these labels
why do we hate
by the time we get to really know others
it will be too late
