Every Step

As I was walking down the street
I saw a girl with bright blue
Eyes
Never knowing she would be
My Guardian angel in disguise
We talked for hours
She even gave me flowers
She said they were sent from above from Someone who loved me dearly
I wondered and questioned who It Could be
She said his love for me was real
Even though I said no love could I feel
She brightened my day
Taught me how to pray
She said she'd be beside me Through every step of each day
Even when I had nothing to say
She would always be there every Step of the way
Well friends died, My Chldren Lied,
I yet again forgot how to pray
But I can truly say she's been with Me through every step of the way
