I thought I'd never lose you
I can't believe your gone,
You always seemed the part of me, that would always carry on.
A tender thought still brings a tear
My silent wish that you were here.

Wonderful memories of you so dear
Treasures still with love sincere,
In my heart you are living yet,
I love you to dearly to forget.

Gone from me but leaving memories death can never take away,
Memories that will always linger While upon this earth I stay

Our time in years slipped quietly by
But love and memories never die.

**This poem was written for my 13 year old friend who died of cancer and all the time he was a fighter and battled on. I Still miss you Shaun.**
