Let it Rain

by Striving To Be   Nov 11, 2004

If I could pick the weather
It would rain forever

While it brings an array of sad emotions
I sit and laugh at these silly notions

Can’t you see we are all fools
Victims of our own tools

Rain is happiness and utter love
The tears of joy now fall from above

It brings about the best of past times
Laugh so hard that you cry sometimes

These tears are also what you see fall
Rain is the tears of joy of ALL

Rain is beautiful and sound
Drumbeats as they hit the ground

Stand in it and you feel its embrace
And blessed by its grace

So next time it rains don’t curse it
Go to a window and just sit

So now I ask you “what do you think of the rain?”
Sit back, relax as the happy memories drain
