Left Forever

I found some pictures today
of you and me together
just like the good ol days
when you hadn't left forever
the memories came rushing to my mind
of all the times we had
another friendship better I cant find
I miss you so much its just so sad
they took you away with their gun
straight through your heart the bullet went
and forever out of the sky took your sun
because of them to heaven you early you were sent
I remember watching you fall to the ground
I ran as fast as I could hoping to save you
but I soon realized, dead you were found
I collapsed there screaming and crying, the only thing I could do
you were my best friend
in time of need you were always there
always lending an extra hand
always ready to say a little prayer
I will never forget the day
that they forever took you away
and I wish I had one more chance to say
I'm here for you and everything will be OK
