As i stare

i stare at you across the room,
i see your pleasant face;
i try to see you inside yourself,
your feelings i try to embrace.

i realize as i look at you,
as i just sit and stare;
i can see you perfectly clear,
but for some reason you are not there.

i see your hair, i see your face,
but it seems to be untrue;
you are here just like before,
yet its not the same you.

i stare at you across the room,
i try to feel the emotions inside;
the love, the care is no longer there,
it hurts to know all has died.

these are the same eyes,
i used to ebb in with so much love,
the same shine
making me feel like in heaven above.

but now all love gone away,
only malice left to flow;
could this be happening?
i just dont know.

i realize how much that you have changed,
how you dont seem to care,
i stare at you across the room,
but yet you are not there
