Final State

by FTS Miles   Nov 11, 2004

Steam and rose
Surround my peaceful sighs
As relaxing rivulets
Wander tenderly
Upon my flesh.
Shadows on the wall
Mimic my sways
And consume the
Errant droplets
Cascading from my body.
And in this gentle
Candlelit halflight
Before the heat runs to cold,
Before the rose runs to coal,
Or the time parts from embrace,
My thoughts turn to you...
And my tranquility
Reaches its final
Tender state....
