Honestly

Honestly

Hanging out the window can you honestly say,
That for all your life’s sins you can honestly pay?
After all the horrors in time you have saw,
Do you honestly think you can’t take anymore?

Feeling the wind embracing your skin,
Do you really believe that this way you’ll win?
No wife, no child, no money or friends,
Do you honestly think that this is the end?

There are ways and means of solving things,
Do you truly believe that you actually have wings?
It’s a long way down before you hit the ground,
Do you really think it’s salvation you’ve found?

After all that loss, after hurting so deep,
Can you honestly say you’re willing to leap?
Too much fear and too much doubt,
But don’t you know it’s the easy way out?

Hanging out the window can you honestly declare,
That nothing at all has ever been fair?
Looking down below with tear-filled eyes,
Do you truly believe that everything dies?

I was inspired to write this at college for some reason.
Please comment, I'd like to know if people think it's good.
