I caught you staring.
Don't try to hide it.
I know it was you.
But why were you ataring at me?

Do you point and whisper
When someone
Can't spell a word like 'hallucination'?
I can do that

Do you sigh and tut
When somebody
Can't figure out their algebra?
I can do that too.

Do you giggle behind your hand
When a girl
Doesn't get the joke?
I can do that

Do you smirk and roll your eyes
When some poor soul
Is struggling to write her essay?
I can do that too.

But do you stare
When I
Can't climb a couple of steps?
Or seat myself on a chair?
Or fall and can't get up?
I could do that...

If I was like you
But, then again,
Is that the sort of person
I want to be?
