I'm going to stop writing love poems
For my fellings have become all to clear.
That I love you with all my heart
Even more when your near.
My friends are telling me we like each other
More then we let on
Its getting hard to hide these feelings now
As their getting way to strong.
I don't want to seem to clingy
God knows thats not me
I'm not going to whisper sweet nothings in your ear
Telling you what we 'could' be.
I'm not going to hold your hand to tightly
So you think that I might need you
I'm not going to let you gaze into my eyes
Like,in the old days, we used to do
I'm not going to let you say
Those three words I long to hear
And when we say goodbye to each other
I'm not going to shed a tear.
And as we walk away from each other
We going to know that it true
That you will love me forever
And that I will always love you.
