Damaged Love

by Zundricia   Nov 11, 2004

All the days of professing my love, I’m still alone
All the days of awaiting a reply, they’ve gone
Emotions have run rampant and have returned back to me
Tears have fell and will never return you see

How long should one wait? Should they be in the dark
If you’re not sure they love you, or if you’re in their heart
Feeling like a desolate building, I crumble to the ground
Knowing that on this love we will never expound

I’ve told you that you’re my only one; it’s so very true
I’ve been there, revolved around all that you do
You’ve given hints, very small insignificant hints
Yet with each hint left there is left a bigger dent
