No core

by Mild insomnia   Nov 11, 2004

Staring into space, expressionless look upon my face,
No faith left to embrace, still nothing's out of its place.
Its like a car running on empty at seventy miles per hour.

And I cannot take anymore,
I'm sick of being your emotional hor,
Just an object for you to ignore,
Nothing more,
An empty body with no core.

I'm sure I loved you, in one of the years that just flew,
No memories and nothing new, no lies and nothing true.
Any happiness I find - you happily take and devour.

And I cannot take anymore,
I'm sick of being your emotional hor,
Just an object for you to ignore,
Nothing more,
An empty body with no core.

If you ever change,
Though I know you won't,
Would I be sane?
If you don't,
Could I keep playing?
Can I cope,
With this game,
I've lost all hope.

And I cannot take anymore,
I'm sick of being your emotional hor,
Just an object for you to ignore,
Nothing more,
An empty body with no core.
