well i didn't join the army but i joined the navy and i got kicked out :( i was never patriotic or anything and people don't understand its a different life the military and then the civilians....I got kicked out though :( only I still cry wanting to take it all back it was always something i wanted from the time i was a little girl in school writing about what do you want to be when you grow up?....mine was always i want to be in the military...Sad But oh well enought w/ my life lol...The poem was really good and as you can see i could deff...realate to it! Yes, this is a true strory, Janueary 2, 2003 I departed to Fort Jackson, SC. March 23, 2003 they sent me home.

Great Poem! Both of my brother's are in the Air Force(one is in Korea and the other in Missouri). When I read this poem and my brother's were in thought...i just began to cry! Beautiful words!~God Bless
