One Little Girl

by ~Bloodied&Broken   Nov 13, 2004

She can hear him
He breaks through the door
Holds her up
Then hits her to the floor

One little girl
With tears down her cheek
Her drunken father
Unable to speak

For her mother
She cries out
He brings up his hand
And smacks her about

Her mother runs up
Grabs her little child
This has happened before
With a father so wild

He brings out his gun
Black, heavy steel
Holds it out
With no chance to heal

He pulls the trigger
With one dark shot
The blasting pain
Her mother got

She screams as hard
As her lungs will let
Then she cries out
Her tears so wet

Her mother’s blood
Pours over her
In crimson streams
Pain from her father

“I love you!
Please don’t let go”
She cries out
As her tears flow

He drags her to the stairs
One little girl cries
He kicks her to the bottom
Then strangles till she dies

One little girl
Dead on the floor
Where her soul cries
With one wounded sore.
