trying to get right with the man above
maybe then ill deserve some love
i only prayed when i needed something for me
i think i finally see
that i shouldn't be the pilot of my plane
i should let him guide me to the lane

to the people who have done wrong to me
i truly from my heart forgive thee
the people that i have hurt please see
that I'm asking for you to forgive me
please help me to become a better man
so i to can make it to that promise land
forgive me for every bad thing i do
i know Ive asked you this before, its true
but I'm ready to change for the best
so i will live on, after my death
God, I'm accepting you to be the guide of my life
