Learning 2 be strong

The hardest part about growing up Is getting over your first love,
Putting aside your fallen angel u thought came 4 u from above,
Watching them reject u & be with someone else,
Being left 4 the first time 2 deal by yourself...

Having this new feelings of weakness & fear,
Wondering if theres something wrong with u,
Fighting the uncontrollable tears,
Trying 2 find something 2 hold onto...

Now realizing he really wasn't that big of a deal,
Soon finding out hes not worth all the pain,
Knowing that in time your heart will heal,
& that you will find new love again....

Understanding that sometimes friends really aren't friends,
They can be back stabbers & untrue,
All of it was just pretend,
They said things that u cant undo...

Eventually you will learn 2 get over things a lot quicker,
The disappointments make your heart that much thicker,
Knowing u don't need 2 rely on someone 2 make u complete,
& even after all the drama your heart still continues 2 beat...
